THE EFFECT OF COLOR – GREY

Grey is dignified and confidence. Grey evokes a sense of permanence providing foundation for our wardrobes. Grey color suggests confidence, permanence and sophistication to the wearers. The characteristics of this color are subtle and lasting. Grey has dignity and elegance.

When used with red and magenta, grey give a charming, lively and refined combination. Cool color combination gives it a bright, sophisticated and a modern appeal. Grey color is associated with professional dress, implying seriousness and hard work.

Grey never has a decided effect. When pearl grey is more towards white, it is innocent, subtle and refined and when it comes to steel grey, it is more towards black; it is stronger, dominant and steely.

The message also changes with the change of fabric and texture. To break the melancholy of grey, it is paired with bright colors. The color baseline for grey textiles is silver grey, indigo grey, steel grey, dove grey. Grey is used in interesting patterns in knitwear, especially the classic tweeds.

STYLE DECODE - TARA KHANNA, MADE IN HEAVEN

'Made In Heaven' is about two wedding planners, Tara Khanna and Karan Mehra and the crazy things that come with planning big fat Indian weddings. Tara Khanna is a hard-working entrepreneur who runs a wedding management company with her friend. The character is played by supremely beautiful Sobitha Dhulipala . Tara wears custom-fit pantsuits, semi-formal dresses, and gorgeous, silk sarees throughout the show. I must say, she looks every bit the elite, urban, working woman she enacts in the series.
