THE EFFECT OF COLORS – RED

Wearing red itself gives an image of confidence that commands attention. Red color is a symbol of life, passion, elation and energy. It evokes strong images. Being warmest of color hues, it has an advancing effect, making it seem closer to the viewer than another color the same distance away. Red also has a seductive reputation.

In Chinese culture red (the symbol of active force) is paired with black (the symbol of passive force). When worn alone red is hot, passionate and powerful. Sober colored outfits when accessories with red can create a dramatic impact and totally change the image it reflects. Red is vigorous and has a fundamental strength of its own. It still has the power to combine well with other colors forming a harmonious as well as contrasting effect.

No matter what color it is combined with, red can never be ignored. In advertising and display, powerful combinations are used to send a strong message of vitality and awareness. They always attract attention. Red, paired with other warm hue is a youthful and energetic effect. Red is contrasted best with blues and greens. When paired with other shades of red, we must identify the underlying hue, which differ in crimson, scarlet and orange.

Red color offers a freedom of boldness and beauty. Red, when used with its tones or other hues gives a variety of images like energetic cool, vivid, subdued, and spicy and contemporary. Red is versatile, best suited for day wear as well as evening wears. What matters most is the season, climate and fabric weight than the time of the day. Chiffons, linen and silk are suited for day wear. Bold red dinner suites and evening dresses are powerful. Deep red is less aggressive. They are exotic. Artificial lights, ake the red hue warmer and natural daylight does the opposite.

Tara Khanna is a hard-working entrepreneur who runs a wedding management company with her friend. The character is played by supremely beautiful Sobitha Dhulipala . Tara wears custom-fit pantsuits, semi-formal dresses, and gorgeous, silk sarees throughout the show. I must say, she looks every bit the elite, urban, working woman she enacts in the series. Her character is giving major fashion goals for work to casual wear and glammed up looks. Apart from her strong character, her styling and dressing throughout the series have got us drooling!! Each stroke of styling is right for the character. The whole looks are styled by stylist Poornamrita Singh .
