THE EFFECT OF COLORS – PINK

Pink is a tough color with a sweet reputation. Looking pretty in pink is more difficult than it seems. Long associated with sweetness, youth, and innocence, pink in reality is a chameleon. Worn alone, pink can definitely become overpowering.
When in combination with emerald green, it looks tropical and fresh like spring. Used with red, its basic hue, it looks dramatic and theatrical. It varies from baby pink to very bright and saturated pink. Pink color looks best with pure colors. Pink and orange make a bold and electric collection. Pale pink with mint in linen is a popular summer combination for light combination and gray hair. Pale pink pairs well with pale and soft colors since paleness makes the area where the two colors meet, less distinct. Beige and pink also create a natural and gentle combination.
Pink is hardest to wear in strong daylight unless saturated or accentuated with deep tones. The addition of white to pastel combination of pink sharpens the contrast of a pastel and brings them into focus. The drama of pink is expressed as it approaches magentas and on silk and on any other shiny texture. The traditional association of pink and romance strengthen it as a color for evening dresses. Like red pink arouses interest and excitement, but in a softer, quieter way.

STYLE DECODE - TARA KHANNA, MADE IN HEAVEN

'Made In Heaven' is about two wedding planners, Tara Khanna and Karan Mehra and the crazy things that come with planning big fat Indian weddings. Tara Khanna is a hard-working entrepreneur who runs a wedding management company with her friend. The character is played by supremely beautiful Sobitha Dhulipala . Tara wears custom-fit pantsuits, semi-formal dresses, and gorgeous, silk sarees throughout the show. I must say, she looks every bit the elite, urban, working woman she enacts in the series. Her character is giving major fashion goals for work to casual wear and glammed up looks. Apart from her strong character, her styling and dressing throughout the series have got us drooling!! Each stroke of styling is right for the character. The whole looks are styled by stylist Poornamrita Singh . Here are my top five favorite looks from the series. 1.     A royal blue, collared shirt with floor length, princess skirt in mustard jacquard. ...
